ABOUT
I’m Janick – an industrial designer with a background in carpentry, based in Munich.
My journey began shaping wood during my carpentry apprenticeship (2016–2019),
where I discovered a deep fascination for design, materials, and creative problem-solving.
After a few years of hands-on experience and further training as a Designer in Craftsmanship (2021–2022),
I started blending traditional skills with concept-driven thinking. Since 2023,
I’ve been studying Industrial Design in Munich – still building
things, just with more pixels,
prototypes, and questions.
My work moves between physical making and thoughtful experimentation, often guided by
curiosity, simplicity, and a touch of
playfulness.
