A MICHELIN MOMENT IN THE MUNDANE
How does fine dining begin? "Aufgestrichen" is a study in contrasts: it translates the humble breakfast – bread, butter, coffee – into the language of haute cuisine. Developed in collaboration with Tantris, Munich’s iconic Michelin-starred restaurant (WS 2024/25), the project reimagines a familiar domestic ritual through the lens of material culture and gastronomic precision. The set consists of a wooden board (oak or ash), a black-stained oak butter knife, and a porcelain coffee cup with a milled oak handle. Each piece is designed to be quiet, functional, and refined: a tribute to the unnoticed gestures of the everyday.

FINE DINING -
DOMESTIC SCALE
"Aufgestrichen" doesn’t aim to elevate breakfast – it frames it differently. The materials are honest, the forms restrained. What changes is the context: the suggestion that even the most routine meal deserves attention, care, and presence.

PACKAGING AS STAGE
To carry this atmosphere beyond the table, the set arrives in carefully crafted packaging. More than protection, the box sets the tone – a quiet stage for the objects inside. Unboxing becomes part of the performance: tactile, precise, and unexpectedly special.
